practices to cultivate self-understanding
Creative Sessions invite you to explore the space where presence and creative expression become a path to deeper self-awareness.
For those who use creativity as a way of thinking, feeling, or making sense of experience.
These sessions have a foundation in East Asian Calligraphy, where we use mark-making as a mirror of our state of mind - each stroke revealing something of our internal landscape.
They offer us an insight into the tensions, beliefs and blocks we hold within, as well as a gentle practice to help process them.

Ensō Drawing for When You Feel Stuck
A guided practice to deeper awareness of where obstacles emerge for you, and how to cultivate a more compassionate movement around them.
The Ensō Drawing workshop invites you to contemplate the whole cycle of experience and detach from judgements about where you find yourself within it.
Creative Sessions
As a Person-Centered Therapist, Mimi understands how to support individuals to encounter themselves more fully, and she facilitates in such a way that emotions, thoughts and uncertainties can be explored with curiosity rather than resistance.
Creative Sessions offer mark making practices as a way to ‘be-with’ ourselves, as a stroke of ink unfolds and expresses what is within. Rather than being a practice of mastering a technique or producing a perfect brushstroke, they are an invitation to be present with what arises; to explore the edges of ambiguity and uncertainty, and to notice the ways in which we resist or flow in response to it.
